The “ZDB Collection” presents the collection of the Galeria Zé dos Bois (ZDB) for the first time outdoors. Over the years, the ZDB - one of Portugal’s most dynamic and experimental independent spaces in the field of the visual arts, performance, music and clubbing - has collected different works of art, books, visual poetry, posters, ethnographic objects, and various materials of all kinds. The CIAJG's artistic project is interested in this diversity, driven by the logic of chance encounters and affinities, within the framework of its partnerships with other cultural institutions. In this manner, we confirm our commitment to emerging and independent artistic creation and to cultural associations, one of the outstanding characteristics of the territory of Guimarães.
