Sundays at the Museum
In “Collect, cut out, print!” we will explore the screen printing technique using paper cut-outs (stencil), in a practical and collaborative way.
Inside the museum and through its collections, we will collect simple sketches to take to the printing area. There will be a presentation of the materials and tools, preparation of the canvas and inking, printing and cleaning of the paintings. Each participant will be able to experiment with printing on different supports and even build up layers of the remaining paintings. Participants can bring a t-shirt if they want to try textile printing, so they can wear their print at any time.
Note: it is recommended that participants bring comfortable clothing that can be stained.
